About the event
Sunday, December 4th, 8:00PM @ Afro Hair Studio on 1109 Granville. Witness the transformation into an art exhibition, showcasing the work of Alixzandar Morle (Trinidad & Tobago). The work is a unique exploration into the realm of Afrofuturism. Morle, is inspired by Otaku culture (Anime), mech-robotics, automation and cyber-futuristic landscapes. He developed his skills as an artist from an early age and is a trained Industrial Designer (SCAD, Savannah, Georgia).
Being born on a tiny Caribbean island and studying in the historical gem of the south, gives this body of work a unique perspective. There are elements of Carnival, the Black Power Movement as well as traditional African symbolism.
Original Paintings will be on display for a month and will be on SALE.
